I am trying to solve the problem with a custom user, which works fine. The user is created without problems and i can login and logout. But, since the user has no access to the settings/data, it has no unique identifier. I read about @cached_property. I think this is the right thing to do but it's not working for me. This is my code: def _get_token(request): from socialauth.models import Token try: token = Token.objects.filter(user=request.user).first() if not token: raise Http404 return token.access_token except ObjectDoesNotExist: raise Http404 class TokenAuthentication(ModelBackend): access_token_headers = { 'Cache-Control': 'no-cache', 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin': '*', 'Access-Control-Allow-Headers': 'Content-Type', } def authenticate(self, username=None, password=None): return Token.objects.get_or_create(user=self.user) def get_user(self, username=None, password=None): if username and password: return Token.objects.get(user=username) return None class MyUserManager(BaseUserManager): def create_user(self, username, email
